Everyone was so professional. Dawn came out to our home to give us an estimate and we could tell that our things would be taken care of by how she took time to explain everything in detail. The guys showed up on time on moving day, Pabel, Alex, and Miguel, and worked as a true team, each carefully carrying our items to the truck. Thank you Rocky Movers for a stress free moving day!!!Posted on Google Ken HinchliffeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Rocky Movers was outstanding in every respect for a long-distance move to Philadelphia. Professional, courteous crews and everything arrived in perfect condition. And their price was fair and reasonable. Their back office is highly responsive.Posted on Google Michael SmithTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. As many moves can be, ours was complicated. We were trying to sell and buy a house right around Christmas and knew we needed to get a move scheduled quickly due to the holidays. However, with neither transaction being final it was hard to pinpoint an exact date. Joe with Rocky Movers walked me through some options, Barry did a FaceTime tour of the house to create an estimate, and we set a tentative window. Once the transactions were complete, Joe got the date finalized. The movers who arrived at our house were incredibly efficient and professional. Job foreman Martin and his assistant loaded the entire household contents on a 26-foot truck within four hours. They handled our belongings with care. That same care was used two days later when Martin and another assistant arrived to unload the belongings. We were very pleased with the overall communication from the beginning to the end of the process and with the attention shown to ensuring a successful move during the middle of the holiday season.Posted on Google Rem BashariTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. How much do movers cost in Denver?
Most 2-bedroom local moves in Denver run $550 to $900 at 2026 rates. Pricing is by crew size and hours, plus a truck fee. Larger homes and long-distance moves get an individual quote. Colorado’s not-to-exceed rule makes your written estimate a ceiling, so the final bill can’t pass it.
How much should I tip movers?
As of 2026, most customers tip $10 to $20 per mover on a half-day move and $20 to $40 for a full day, and some prefer 10 to 15% of the total split among the crew. Tipping is optional. Great service is the best reason to do it.
How far in advance should I book my move?
Book two to four weeks ahead if you can. Month-end dates and the summer peak from Memorial Day to Labor Day fill up first. Have a short-notice move? Call anyway. When a crew is open, we will fit you in.
Are you licensed and insured?
What items won't you move?
We can’t take hazardous materials. That covers propane tanks, gasoline, paint and household chemicals. On longer moves we also skip perishable food and live plants. Tell us what you have and we will point you to the right way to handle each one before move day.
Do you offer packing and storage?
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a small one. Deposit amounts for 2026: one hour of labor on local moves, $200 on long-distance. It is refundable up to 48 hours before your move date and it counts toward your final bill. We never ask for oversized deposits or cash-only payment.
